29-Apr-2007 -- About forty kilometres East of Cunnamulla we veered North on a dirt road. Once again I hoped to do better in gatting very close to the confluence but things don't always go according to plan. Nevertheless, I was only one kilometre short of the point and I didn't mind walking.
Even if the terrain was flat, there were a few obstacles and heavier vegetation than the few previous confluences and more rocks. Nothing too hard anyway and some good exercise never goes astray. The only wildlife I saw on that beautiful Sunday morning were three kangaroos and they didn't hang around too long.
