18-Jun-2007 -- After competing in the Jukola/Venla relay in Lapua on 16-17 June we spent one night in Seinajoki and then traveled south to catch a ferry in Turku. We followed the rental car map to a road next to a tree farm and parked. We hiked for about 20 minutes through the woods and came up to a road right next to the confluence. The point of the confluence is about 30 meters north of a metal fabricating building. It is in a typically beautiful Finnish forest with moss covering the rocky ground amidst the darkened forest. The ever present mosquitoes were also visiting the confluence which kept our visit brief.
