29-Sep-2007 -- Early in the morning we left Kano with an aim to visit the confluences 12N 10E and 13N 10E, and possibly spend a couple of days in the north of Nigeria travelling around.

The route we followed lead us close to the confluence 12N 9E which we had visited three years ago, and we decided to visit this Confluence again and have our breakfast there. We reached the Confluence around 8:30 a.m. It was still cool and we had a pleasant short walk through the fields to the Confluence.

After we had made the necessary pictures, we returned to our vehicles and had our breakfast. We thereafter continued our journey towards the confluence 12N 10E.
