18-Nov-2007 -- Although this confuence point is located in the remote desert of southeastern California, it is quite easy to reach, because it lies within a flat, sparsely vegetated area that can readily be accessed by 4-wheel-drive vehicles. I ended up taking the same route as the previous visitors: Marshall Clow and David Kaplan (visit #6), and drove to within feet of the confluence point.
Little seems to have changed in the year since the previous visit. The rock cairn is still in place, and the dead tree just to the west of the confluence point looks exactly the same.
