26-Jan-2008 -- It's now been more than OMG 3 YEARS since Swedish Geocaching group Team_EoN visited any confluences so once again we decided that is was more than about time.
Car crashes and broken bones of different kinds have kept us off the road but not any longer.
This would be our seventh degree confluence visit, and for the first time in our confluence adventures everything went pretty much as we had planned it.
We started from Örebro (about 92 km South of the confluence), and there we set our GPS's (a Garmin GPSmap 60Csx and MyGuide 4400) to N60E15, and started to make our way towards the goal.
When we were about 350m from the confluence there was a perfect parking spot and so we left the car and headed for the wilderness, or so we thought.
As can be seen on the other visit it's supposed to be woods at the place of the confluence, well.. not anymore.
HUGE tire tracks cut through the ground and logs were all over the place. Seems like the paper industry need more of its basic ingredient. :(
The confluence itself was located in a very open are so perfect GPS reception was (and will be) easy to get.
SNAP SNAP SNAP, some pictures later we were on our way back to the car and started planning for the next visit.
Enjoy the pictures!
