22-Apr-2008 -- I was traveling to Brasília for business purposes. Once I had some free time, I decided visiting the only confluence located there.
The starting point for this hunt was Brasília TV Tower, located in the city’s geographic center and highest Brazilian tower. Once I set my GPS for the hunting track, it showed me I was 30 km far from the final destination. As I had the entire afternoon as a leisure time, I took my car and drove across the fast and very safe roads of the Brazilian capital. In 30 minutes, always being guided by my GPS, I easily arrived club CESNA at Sítio do Gama District. By the time I arrived the club, soccer training for kids was going on. After the class finished, I asked the soccer coach for entrance permit, and also explained him about the DCP. He kindly let me get into the club, and once he understood what I was doing there, he commented that “there are so many strange jobs in the world!!”.
It is a very easy confluence to go. It’s located in a soccer field “complex” where there are soccer classes 3 times a week for kids and teenagers. Then I took the formal pictures for the DCP and went back home after answering some kid’s questions about confluence hunts and GPS using. On the way back home, I visited the Catetinho – the first official home for the president in Brasília and now a museum.
Some facts about this confluence:
