10-Aug-2008 -- After arrival at Puerto Cabello, where we have to discharge 30,350 tons of maize, I contacted my Caracas based friend Alfredo and asked him whether we could visit some Confluence.
On Sunday Alfredo, his son Gustavo, and Jesús met me at Puerto Cabello and we went to 10N 69W. The last 10 km to the Confluence were difficult, as there had been heavy rain during night and almost all roads where flooded. Without a four wheeler there was no chance to pass them.
The area is agricultural without any larger settlement close by.
Finally at the Confluence, which is only a few meters from a road, we made our pictures to North, East, South, and West. The group photo shows from left to right: Alfredo, Gustavo, Captain Peter, ans Jesús.
