24-Oct-2008 -- We had tried to visit this confluence point already two years ago. We took the same way as before via Khlidee Junction. The tree that had stopped us two years before had been removed so we could drive by car to the road point that is approximately 4km away from the confluence point. Here we started into the jungle towards the confluence point. We needed more than one hour to come around 400m closer, so we calculated that we would need another eight hours one-way to reach it if we continued at this speed. As the forest vegetation got thicker and thicker and the place is infested with leeches we decided again to turn around.
