18-May-2009 -- This is the 68th of a series of 83 confluence visits during our voyage from Nigeria to Europe and back to Nigeria around the entire African continent. It all started on 28 January 2008 at 11N 5E.

Story continues from 34S 24E.

The last night we spent at Buffelsbay. It was a bright morning and we went from Buffelsbay back onto the N2 towards Knysna. From the N2 we turned off and went via the Phantom Pass to the Confluence.

It is a very scenic area. The Confluence is situated on a dairy farm. We met the farm lady and had quit a long interesting conversation with her before we continued to the Confluence. The Confluence is situated on an irrigated meadow.
