24-Jan-2010 -- During a short visit to Chicago where we have visited museums, galleries , concert halls and theatres my wife and I decided that we would also like to have a look at the countryside around the city. We got a car with a navigational unit and set off for N42E88. Unfortunately the unit could not take coordinates, only street addresses. Our handheld Garmin GPS took over and brought us almost straight to the cp, an easy visit. As at least thirteen people before us had found, the cp was in the middle of a residential area where some Christmas decorations still remained in the gardens. This was our first cp visit in America.
The time in the GPS is Central European Time, i.e. seven hours before Chicago time.
