10-Apr-2011 -- While driving along the Natchez Trace Parkway, I made a short detour at Port Gibson to visit this confluence point. The road from Port Gibson to Grand Gulf Military Monument passes just 1/4 mile north of the confluence point.
I parked at the side of the road (near the junction with Y-Camp Road), and then hiked down an old, partially overgrown farm road, then across a clover field, then through woodland, to reach the confluence point.
This was only the second visit to this easy confluence point, and the first visit in more than 10 years. The previous visit (by Danny Strickland) was in February, when the vegetation was a lot barer.
