29-Jul-2011 -- On our way from Clyde River, NU to Igloolik, NU, this confluence of even tens of degrees happened to be close by to our route.

It is situated on the side of a steep mountain nestled deep within one of the many fiords on the east coast of Baffin Island. The area is truly breath taking with three thousand foot sheer cliffs rising from the sea, carved by ancient glaciers while current ice sheets cut new routes down the mountainside and calve icebergs into the ocean currents.

The picture submitted is looking south from a relatively flat spot I found upon which to land briefly.
