20-Dec-2011 -- This was part of my trip to Tifariti in liberated Western Sahara. On the way back from Tifariti to the Mauritanian capital Nouakchott, I decided to visit some confluence points in the north-east of Mauritania. I was traveling alone in my 4-WD truck.
As for most part of this vast Saharan area, the landscape is totally flat, with an occasional rock formation. Easily accessible, even though there are no pistes to speak of. It is a very isolated area.
