13-Jul-2012 -- The holidays are over now. My family flew back home from Malaga to Valladolid, being more comfortable for the baby of the house. That left me with a car full of luggage so I started back with the idea of hunting a few confluences. After leaving them in the airport and pick up some things, I went to this confluence.

While I was on the A7, all went well. The turn off to Granada to Motril went without problems. But part of the mountain road that was left was under construction by landslides, so I had to drive with caution. Arriving at the village of Picena without problems, but I had to stop the car at the outskirts of the town because the streets are not suitable for cars. After leaving the car, I cross the river Picena through stones which were in the water. After coming across a herd of goats and a small but hard climb up a trail, I reached the vicinity of the point. It cost me a bit to get the zeros to be a point on a hillside. The confluence is located at the foot of an aloe vera plant, and from here you can see Picena.

After taking the photos, I returned to the car without problems. I had more luck than the previous visitor, because the area in recent years has been cleared a lot and there were no problems with vegetation. I think back to this region of Las Alpujarras to enjoy it with more calm, because what I saw, it was worth it. From here, I went to Almeria for the night.
