05-Jun-2014 -- To reach this confluence point, I took Rye Creek Road eastward, then turned left at [45.964050,-114.000461] to climb up a series of steep gravel roads. These took me to about 100 meters from the confluence point. From there, a short hike along an old road cut (blocked off to vehicle traffic) at [45.998138,-113.996487] took me directly to the point.
The effect of the year 2000 forest fire (noted by the previous visitor - Bill Borrie - in 2002) is still visible, with many burned trees visible as I drove up to the confluence point. (The confluence point itself was spared by the fire, however.)
