27-Oct-2014 -- We spent the last days at Las Cañas on the River Uruguay. Now we are heading north towards Paysandú on the Ruta 24. This road bypasses the Confluence by 860 m. A bit further on is a turn-off to the West and a further turn-off to the South, which leads to a borrow pit for road constructions. At this point we were 400 m from the Confluence.
We had to cross an abandoned and overgrown railway line. The remaining 350 m we walked through a field of wheat to the Confluence.
