14-Mar-2017 -- While driving from Kansas City south to Arkansas, I decided to visit two ‘Forgotten Confluence Points’ that had been visited only once before - by the Jacksons (et al) back in December 2000 - more than 16 years ago. This point is very easy to visit; it lies in a farm field, just 0.13 miles from a bend in a country road.
Unfortunately this point, while easy to visit, is also extremely boring. It lies in a fallow field, and the views in each direction are pretty much the same. In my opinion, it deserves to wait until 2033 (another 16 years hence) before receiving its next visit.
I then headed eastwards to 38N 94W, which turned out to be much more interesting.
