15-Aug-2017 -- From 48N 112W I drove through the small farming town of Brady, then continued eastwards - across Interstate 15 - along Brady Road East. This long road starts out paved, but then turns to gravel.
After a lot of driving, I turned south onto another gravel road (Montana 564: Bucks Bridge Road) that initially followed the 111 degrees West line of longitude. Unfortunately - just before reaching 48 degrees North - the road veered towards the south-east, passing 0.53 miles from the point.
From here it was an easy hike across rolling farmland, with cattle grazing nearby. Just before reaching the point, I crossed another fence, where the grass was a little longer (indicating that this area is not currently being grazed). The point lies near a ridge top, with views pretty much the same in all directions. Farms in Montana can be vast!
