05-Oct-2000 -- Continuing South on Hwy 27 our next target confluence is 29N 82W. This site was first visited 27 Dec 1999 by Mike Blaszczak and Deb Hartline). At that time SA was still in effect and Mike reports a bit of "wandering" from the GPS. My goal is to tighten up the target and add to my conquest of visiting all confluences in the state of Florida. As Mike states, the target is an easy one just barely in the bush from the cleared right of way of HWY 27. I just pulled the motor home on to the shoulder of the road at the closest point to the target. It was so close I even got my wife to exit the motor home and hold the Garmin 12 . Since Mike covered the details I just took a picture of where I got the best reading and a long shot looking south down Hwy 27. For anyone anywhere near the area, this, is a nice easy one. It's on to the next virgin confluence.
