29-Dec-2019 -- Wir haben zwei Tage Zeit für die Insel. Die Nacht verbringen wir bei Sturm im Bus auf dem Parkplatz am Ring of Brodgar. Ein sehr beeindruckender Ort. Am folgenden Tag fahren wir von Sehenswürdigkeit zu Sehenswürdigkeit und halten zwischendurch an der Straße nördlich des CP.

Durch ein Tor kommt man auf die Weide und da es wieder regnet, fragt auch einer der Vorbeifahrenden, warum wohl da Menschen auf die nasse Weide laufen.

Die Bilder und die Nullen sind schnell erledigt. Das nächste Ziel ist die Kirche der Italiener.

Wir übernachten wieder auf dem Parkplatz, nachdem wir ein gutes Abendessen in Kirkwall bekommen haben.

Am nächsten Nachmittag geht es mit der letzten Fähre in diesem Jahr zurück zum Festland.

29-Dec-2019 -- We have two days to get to the island. We spend the night in the bus on the parking lot at the Ring of Brodgar. A very impressive place. The following day we drive from sight to sight and stop in between times at the road north of the CP. Through a gate you enter the pasture and since it is raining again one of the people passing by asks why there are people walking on the wet pasture. The pictures and zeros are quickly done. The next destination was the church of the Italians. We spend the night on the parking lot again, after we had a good dinner in Kirkwall

The next afternoon we will take the last ferry for this year back to the mainland.
