09-Jul-2021 -- Because I don't have technical rock climbing skills, I had expected this to be an incomplete visit. I had planned to drive to the end of Lake Pocket Road, at around [35.01456,-112.01716], and hike eastwards from there towards the point. I knew that I would not be able to climb down the cliff to get to the point, but I was hoping to fly my drone over the point, to get a bird’s-eye view.

Alas, my plans were thwarted 5.74 miles from the point, as a dirt road leading towards the point was closed, due to a recent forest fire in the area. So I’ll have to attempt a (less incomplete) visit for some other day.
