26-Jun-2022 -- What a fantastic ride the Coober Pedy Adventure Riders succeed, what was meant to be about 3 hours turned out to be 7 and a half hours total 330klm

I was riding my KTM 625sxc,Robert Pattison riding DR650, Anthony Daelman-Whitaker riding DRZ400, Corey Edwards riding XR650 and Jeff Smith on his DR650 an adventure rider on his way to Alice Springs from Melbourne just happened to be at the petrol station as we were about to go and I asked him if he wanted to come for an adventure and he accepted.

Corey came off his bike and busted his clutch leaver, I thought the Honda was going to end up in its natural habitat on the back of a trailer but Jeff had some zip ties and we were on the road again, we got the details we needed and will claim this point.

The area was approx. 10klm from the main track, semi-arid with rocky outcrops and red desert sand and some Mulga scrub.

The confluence point was on Wintinna Station
