22-Jul-2022 -- This year it is a cover crop of clover.

I have not seen rain for three months and so I did not take a rain coat with me on this short walk - oops! Fortunately I am not water soluble.

I am my way to the Nordic Radio Orienteering Championships and this is my first trip overseas from England since 2019 - and so also my first confluence in three years.

My witness was a large brown hare - I did not spot him hiding in the long grass on my way to the confluence but as I returned he decided I was too close and disappeared into the distance at high speed.
