16-Jul-2024 -- Like the (surprisingly many) previous visitors to this point, I accessed this Degree Confluence Point by hiking up the steep power line access road (beginning off Woods Road at [48.00767,-123.00262], and continuing up the switchbacks (gaining more than 500 feet in elevation) until I reached approximately the same elevation (about 800 feet) as the point - at [48.00194,-122.99732]. (Locals have been using this location as a small garbage dump.) I then bushwhacked about 0.16 miles across the forest slope, crossing many downed trees en route. After a lot of effort, I was able to get ‘all zeros’ on my GPS receiver. (Fortunately I saw no sign of a ‘geocache’ or any other marker at the point.)

Back at the power line access road, I flew my drone over the point to get an aerial view.
