21-Oct-2024 -- I was pleased to break up the long drive from Karratha to Exmouth by visiting this remarkably easy Degree Confluence Point enroute. At [-22.87658,114.90725], I turned South onto (dirt) Towera Road, and continued for about 17 km, to reach the point, which lies just off the road. (In fact, the point lies at the end of a short bulldozed outlet off the road - apparently made to help drain water off the road.)
Although this point is very easy to visit, it is in a very sparsely-populated part of Australia, so few people happen to find themselves nearby. This probably explains why this point had not been visited in the previous 20 years.
