01-Jul-2024 -- Vom 25.6.2024 erlebten wir eine wunderschöne Woche Urlaub in Dänemark mit unserem Enkel Edgar in Odder und deren Umgebung. Vor 15 Jahren besuchten sein Vater und ich meinen 2. Confluencepunkt. Für Edgar sollte es in diesem Urlaub der Erste werden. Von dieser Idee war sehr begeistert. Denn einen Tag zuvor hatten wir schon einmal mit Koordinaten nach einem Troll (Jensnej) in Brædstrup gesucht und er hat Diesen ( Longitude: 9.61396807 ; Latitude: 55.97015142) gefunden. Nach unserem Tagesausflug in Aarhus machten wir uns auf den Weg mit dem Highlight „der Weg ist das Ziel“ N 56, E 10 und so fuhren wir mit dem Auto in Richtung Torrild auf dem Kongshusvej 445 bis zu dem Grundstück 133. Der Confluencepunkt sollte ca 400m südlich davon liegen. Da wir nicht durch das Getreidefeld laufen wollten machten wir uns ca 400m in südöstlicher Richtung an der Straße bis zum Grundstück Nr. 134. Dort fragten wir die Bewohnerin wie wir sicher in das naheliegende Waldstück kämen. Sie bat uns den Weg über ihre Koppel zu nehmen. Ich hob Edgar über den elektrisch gesicherten Weidezaun und marschierten dann am Waldesrand bis zur Spitze. Dort begann die Suche des Punktes. Ein bisschen hin und her und siehe da, ca 10 Meter hinter der Waldkante, in der Böschung zu einem Wasserloch fanden wir den Punkt. Dort machten wir die Fotos vom Punkt, alle 4 Himmelsrichtungen und von den Besuchern. Geschafft! es wird sein erster Confluence Punkt. Wir haben sehr viel über „der Weg ist das Ziel“ gesprochen, auch über die Suche damals in Kanada mit seinem Papa. Den Rückweg zum Auto machten wir in den Spuren eines Traktors durch das Getreidefeld. Danach ging es „nach Hause“, nach Hou, wo Oma schon mit dem wohlverdienten Abendbrot wartete. englisch

01-Jul-2024 -- From 25.6.2024 we had a wonderful week's holiday in Denmark with our grandson Edgar in Odder and the surrounding area. His father and I visited my 2nd Confluencepunkt 15 years ago. This holiday was to be Edgar's first. He was very enthusiastic about the idea. The day before we had already searched for a troll (Jensnej) in Brædstrup using coordinates and he had found it (longitude: 9.61396807 ; latitude: 55.97015142). After our day trip in Aarhus we set off with the highlight ‘the way is the goal’ N 56, E 10 and so we drove by car in the direction of Torrild on Kongshusvej 445 to the plot 133. The confluence point should be about 400m south of it. As we didn't want to walk through the cornfield, we followed the road in a south-easterly direction for about 400 metres until we reached plot no. 134, where we asked the resident how we could safely reach the nearby woodland. She asked us to take the path across her paddock. I lifted Edgar over the electrically secured pasture fence and then marched along the edge of the forest to the top. The search for the point began there. A little back and forth and lo and behold, about 10 metres behind the edge of the forest, in the embankment to a waterhole, we found the point. There we took photos of the point, all 4 points of the compass and of the visitors. Done! It will be his first confluence point. We talked a lot about ‘the journey is the reward’, including the search back in Canada with his dad. We made our way back to the car in the tracks of a tractor through the cornfield. Then we went ‘home’ to Hou, where Grandma was already waiting with a well-earned evening meal.
