29-Jul-2025 -- After my long ordeal dealing with a damaged tire following my visit to [38,-6] earlier in the day, I was pleased to finally pick up a replacement rental car at Seville airport, and start driving towards Cadiz, where I was planning to spend the night. This point happened to be just a short detour off my route, so of course I had to visit it.
After driving on a long series of country roads, I arrived in the village of Marismillas, which had a feeling of being stuck alone in the middle of nowhere. The Degree Confluence Point happens to be just inside the front door of one of the private residences here. The village seemed almost deserted on a hot summer afternoon. So I doubt anyone saw me as I walked up to the front door, getting just 7m (+/- GPS error of 2m) from the point.
