24-Sep-2026 -- This point was much easier to visit than I had expected. I turned off Spring Hill Road at a gravel turnout near [36.99759,-76.99345] (0.40 miles SE of the point), where satellite imagery showed a possible path heading Northwest towards the point.
Sure enough, there was a narrow doubletrack road there that headed straight towards the point. The road ended just 190 feet East of the point, leading to an easy ‘bushwhack’ through the forest to reach the point.
I launched my drone from the end of the dirt road. Here is a remote-controlled aerial video of this confluence point.
