#1: Looking WNW from the confluence

15-Jan-2000 -- [The] confluence is located between ranges of hills almost due west of the aerostat located in Luna County, NM, approximately 22 miles directly SW of the town of Deming. It was moderately difficult to reach the confluence due to thick mesquite and heavy sedge grasses.
