17-Mar-2001 -- I was traveling to Quitman MS on business and noticed this confluence was not far out of my way. I didn't take the time to prepare properly, so I didn't have the land owners permission. Not wanting to trespass, I could only get .21 miles from the confluence. The area is heavily wooded with pines. I drove to a cross roads to take the pictures. From the intersection of CR 3919 and CR 3915, there is a cleared strip of land leading in the direction of the confluence. This spot was approximately .5 miles from the confluence. This might be a better spot to enter since you don't have to trek through a thick pine forrest. However, you could cut your total walking distance in half by entering at the closest spot on CR 3919.
