29-Apr-2001 -- Getting to this confluence wasn't to hard, on the return trip from Riverton to Laramie we decided to visit this confluence. After turning off of US 287 we traveled on Minerals Exploration Rd. for 36 miles of paved road. We then turned on to a local road and stopped when we crossed N42°. This was another trek across the sagebrush, only today the wind was blowing 30 MPH. This confluence is in The Great Divide Basin and the pictures show that no matter what direction you look the scenery is the same.
