14-Jun-2001 -- On a trip from the Latrobe Valley to Canberra, I visited 38S 146E on a cold wet morning. Later in the day, I visited 37S 146E, near Mansfield.
Fortunately, the weather was warmer and drier north of the Great Dividing Range, although there was a cool breeze.
Approach was from the direction of Bonnie Doon travelling towards Mansfield. I took the first road running north after having crossed the 146E line. After parking the car under the power lines, I walked across the paddocks, avoiding the animal (sheep and cows) deposits on the ground. The confluence is in an open paddock - I have taken a photo of the confluence, but have also taken views in the 4 cardinal directions from the confluence.
Picture 6 shows a section of the 1:250,000 map showing the confluence.
