05-Jun-2001 -- This point is about 80 km south of Rovaniemi, where we have spent some days during our vacation. It is easy to reach by car, I had to walk only 100 meters at the end.

The point lies in a little forest, only a few houses are around. I think the trees there were not cut down for 20 years. Within this little forest I found many tracks and droppings from elks. I reached this point late in the evening, around 10 pm, but you have nearly 24 hours light a day in the summer in northern Finland.
