21-Jan-2001 -- Decided to adventure out for my second confluence. This one was unsuccessful due to numerous locked gates. I tried to get to the confluence from two different roads from the South on the Colorado side and one road from the East on the Wyoming side. No such luck. I ran into gates like photo #2 and was still two miles from the confluence. Someone will have to figure out who owns access to these gates to get in (even though my maps show these roads as county roads and not private roads). The 200 mile round trip from Denver wasn't all for naught. I did pick up some fireworks at the Wyoming-Colorado border.
