29-Aug-2001 -- We were driving up the Orma Lake Road (we really wanted to get to the middle of nowhere) and decided that a good place to stop would be the 54th parallel.
As we hit it, I looked at the GPS. 54.00.000 and 62.59.261, wow, only 608 meters away. So we decided to do a
geocache at this location. We found a caribou jaw, which we hung at the location of the cache and confluence on a tree limb.
Cool place, but I wouldn't want to visit in about 6 months.
Coordinator's Note: Although the visitors did make it to the confluence, the number and quality of
photographs submitted do not meet the project's requirements, so this visit is listed as an attempt.
