(visited by Michel Dupuis and Anne Marie Dupuis) 06-Oct-2001 -- West of Loudun, and close to the border between "Vienne" and "Deux Sèvres", 47N 000W (and E!) can be easily found east of the small road leaving Glénouze to Panthenay. The place by itself is called "La Corbinière". It is in a Tournesol fields aerea. Due to the season, it was easy to reach the place, though walking in the wet found us wearing "heavy shoes"! After having been around the confluence with the car, we parked it 260 meters from the point (waypoint 001 on the track picture) and got there in a 4 minutes walk. The confluence altitude is 126 meters. Don't miss an interesting castle only 8 km from the confluence in Oiron. |
