04-Oct-2001 -- I had long planned to visit the N56°E25° confluence. When at Panevezys I drove up northeast to Vabalninkas and from there through Salamistis east-northeast to the town of Alizava. The confluence is situated 3 km north of the Alizava center, on a cultivated field. When I was there, the harvest already had taken place. Most likely the field belongs the farmstead of Uzubaliai, some 450 meters southwest of the confluence. 500 meters to northeast begins the village of Girstelkiai.
