16-Mar-2002 -- Our expedition started early in the morning about 30 km east of the
confluence. The weather was perfect, about -5 C and clear sky.
We were 8 persons on 5 snowmobiles, driving towards the Kabla
mountains. Abount 12 km from the confluence we started gaining
altitude, and we got above the tree-limit (as we call it in sweden).
After a long lunch-break on about 900 m altitude, we continued
almost straight towards the confluence, with some minor corrections
to avoid some dangerous cliffs.
We passed the last summit (on about 1200 meters) that was in our way,
and stopped our snowmobiles on the other side,
about 75 m from the confluence because it got too steep.
Anna and I walked the last distance.
