11-Sep-1999 -- This is the most southwesternly confluence in Wisconsin! Like my previous confluence (43N 90W), the exact confluence was unreachable due to barbed wire fences (typical in this farmland area of the country). The first "crossroads" picture puts things in perspective, if you compare it with the map. It was a steady drive uphill trying to the site. Anxiety built up as I was unable to see over the hill until I finally reached the site in some true backcountry. Although I was about 500 feet away from the actual confluence, I think I captured the site with my zoom lens.
