01-May-2002 -- I had been quite puzzled to discover that 48N 003W, visited in july 1999, had only been approached by 200 meters, due to private property boundaries, as it seemed to be in an open field in a quite flat aerea.
So I decided to visit it and try the "100 meters" circle.
Coming from Vannes, I went through Locminé and Plumeliau (commune where the confluence lies) and then took the D 188 beyond Talvern Meneze towards "Le Divit".
This small winding road goes beetween open fields which were in fact just in the process of being ploughed on this labour day!
On my first passage on the road the GPS showed the point only 170 meters away from the road.
I went until the Blavet river to turn back and park the car.
The spot was in a freshly ploughed field, and the ploughman was still ploughing,… on the other side of the road.
I decided to walk carefully around the edges of the field to minimize foot steps in the soft ground.
Happily the confluence is very close to the copse before the slope to the Blavet river and no provocation was necessary to take the pictures!
The point is 102 meters high.
