15-May-2002 -- A relatively easy confluence to reach by dual-sport motorcycle. Follow the well paved Highway #1 southeast about 50 miles to a minor dirt road heading northeast. This turn should be about 1.2 miles west of rancho San Agustin. The dirt road will run in a northeast direction until reaching a small ranch house, just before the ranch's fence the road will veer off to the northwest to within a mile of the confluence. From that point it is easy to ride overland to the confluence.
The land is mostly flat with only a minor amount of wash. The ground is a firm sandy gravel. When riding overland or on minor tracks in the area, be aware of the many thorn bushes and cactus needles, they are the major reason for flat tires.
