11-Jun-2002 -- Our trip to the confluence point was just one of the many crazy ideas that we have had during the time I have been together with my girlfriend.

At first we borrowed a GPS from the university I worked at. We also took a small children's rubber boat with us in case there was water on the way.

Luckily, there was no water in front of us. With a car we drove as close to the point as we could and then continued by foot. The confluence point was quite easy to access, it was only a few hundred meters away from a small road. The only real problem was the mosquitos. They sure were mean little fellas!

After we photographed the area and the GPS we hurried back to the car before the mosquitos had completely eaten us ;)
