31-Aug-2002 -- The second confluence in our list 28-76 is around 135 kms away from Delhi. On Saturday 31st August we finally gave it a try. This confluence is around 17 Kms away from a small town called Narnaul in state of Haryana. Surprisingly this confluence also is just on the border of states of Haryana and Rajasthan as was in the case of 28-77 confluence. We started from Delhi in a car at 13:00 hrs. There are two major towns nearby this confluence. Rewari, which is considered to be the brass town of Harayna and Narnaul. After reaching Dharuhera, which is 70 kms from Delhi, we took a detour from the NH-8 (National Highway 8) and were on a road which was going towards the confluence and was parallel to the NH-8. Reached Rewari around 2:45 pm and had some refreshments there. Narnaul is 35 kms away from Rewari. It took us another 45 minutes to reach there and from there we took a road which was going towards a small town called Bashirpur. After crossing the 28 degree latitude, we found a new road going towards right. This road wasn’t on our maps as the maps are around 25 years old. Finally reached a village called Maroli Which was about 3 kms away from the point and we thought that now we have to walk down that 3 kms. But after walking in the fields for 10 minutes we found that there was another small road going towards the direction of the point. So once again we were back in the car and finally we reached very near to confluence after 15 minutes and then we started to walk and the confluence was there in one of the fields and surprisingly there was a dry well with 100 feet from the point. We reached there around 4:15 pm, took pictures and talked with curious onlookers there and explained them as what we were doing. Then we went in to the village “Dhanuta” nearby and explained to the villagers as what’s the importance of this confluence point.
