22-Oct-2002 -- Wow, how could this confluence have been left undone? It is only a few kilometers south of Penong down the road marked "Sinclair Point". A small private track veers left off of the main road and heads across a salty depression directly towards the confluence. I stopped just 23 meters from the confluence and hopped out with GPS, camera, and of course the Goddess of Confluences. A very windy day meant that much of the horizon was obscured by dust and since where I was the dust got mixed in with blowing salt, I did not linger for long.
