28-Apr-2003 -- On a trip to Northern California taking the Coast Highway, we stopped at the Guadalupe coastal dunes. Looking at the off-shore confluences not yet reached I found that I was at one of the closest points to the confluence accessible on land. The confluence is to the left of the first picture. I took a picture directly of the confluence but since it was into the sun, it didn't quite come out right. But the dunes are something definitely visible from the confluence. According to the location of the parking lot near the shoreline, we were around 34d57'52"N 120d39'4"W.
