27-Apr-2003 -- The first picture is of the Point Arena lighthouse with the confluence area in the background. The second one is of a land otter (a.k.a Raccoon) near the gates to the lighthouse taken by Dan. I figure it's the closest you can get to the confluence without getting wet. Nobody's been out there yet so I guess it would count as the closest attempt possible without getting in a boat.
