22-Jul-2003 -- The confluence is easy to conquer for people who are able to read maps from GPS and are also able to read the dimension. When I realized that I am very close to the confluence, with a happy smile on my face I ran to conquer it. I had to go through field of sunflowers, swamp, to cross a river in front of the surprised eyes of the local fishermen, but the confluence was still far away. It turned out that I was working on the scale 1:500m. Finally, I got to this cultivated field, with a road going through the middle of it. At the end of the field, there it was, the confluence – standing still and virtually.

On the pictures you will see some of the local village people who showed interest in that important initiative.

Really impressive is the nearby monastery “Sv. Nedelja”, the biggest one on the Balkan Peninsula, situated in the middle of a field. Near is the village of Zlativrah with wonderful pubs and friendly people. They serve excellent bean soup and kebapcheta (typical Bulgarian meat food).
