23-Jul-2003 -- I flew from Oslo to Kristiansund, picked up a rental car, and visited our local company offices, before going on to Sunndalsøra.
On the way there, the road crosses a number of bridges, as well as a 5.1 km long undersea tunnel. Coming out of the tunnel, you go through a toll booth, before the road splits: The main highway (E39) goes across the Gjemnessundet straiths on a beautiful suspension bridge, while HW70 leads past N63E8 on the way to Sunndalsøra.
Since I had visited this confluence once before, I found the exit easily, and drove to within 400m from the point. I then ran along and across a grassy field, before I found the exact spot close to a tiny bay on the very tip of the peninsula that contains it.
I made a 360 degree panorama from a spot close to (less than 100 m away from) the confluence before returning to the car and continuing my trip.
After finishing my work in Sunndalsøra, I drove on to visit N63E10 and N63E9.
