23-Aug-2003 -- On a nice but hot August day, we made our way to this confluence out in the middle of a grassy, flat pasture. Our method of transportation was four wheelers. We borrowed the handheld GPS from my brother-in-law and it worked like a charm.
The clear sky provided a good opportunity for picture taking. The Black Hills lie to the north and the Pine Ridge is to the south and west. The local area is prime grassland in beef cattle country. The nearest occupied residence in any direction is several miles away. The pictures show views in multiple directions from the confluence.
