(visited by Hugh Knight, terry hay, rona hay and Peta Knight)

29-Nov-2003 -- It's obvious there's still more confluences to visit and our next two were together on sheep station country on the SW corner of the Nullarbor plain. To visit both required an 1100 km round trip from Esperance on the weekend of the 29/30 November.

We left Esperance on Friday afternoon and travelled to Norseman for the evening meal and then camped approximately 100km east near Fraser Range on the Eyre Highway. Next morning we had around 260kms to get to our first CP 32°S 125°E. This was on the southern boundary of Rawlina Station. This boundary fence follows the 32°S latitude for nearly 100kms and is a dog proof fence nearly 2 metres high. The actual CP was only 200m south of the fence and its maintenance track, so the walk was an easy one.

From there we had to go a little more than 95kms west to our second one. This took us along the boundary of Rawlina Station and along the boundary of Kanandah Station to Worlba Station. We travelled along dirt tracks through these properties and after Worlba we finally found the CP on the northern boundary of Noondoonia Station. After this, we returned directly to Esperance from Balladonia.
